Zaid Bawab is a Jordanian filmmaker, director, and TV presenter. He started in the film industry with a digital filmmaking workshop at the Royal Film Commission (RFC) in Amman. After getting a bachelor’s degree in computer graphics and animation from Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT), he received a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) majoring in Scriptwriting and minoring in Directing from the Red Sea Institute for Cinematic Arts (RSICA). Zaid directed TV commercials for many regional and local brands such as; Johnson’s, Orange, Royal Jordanian, in addition to music videos for local acts and bands. He also directed two episodes of the famous documentary program ‘ What On Earth’. Bawab also worked as a managing Entertainment Editor for Al-Bawaba news website and filled an Arabic Music specialist position in Cork, Ireland, for a major music streaming project while freelancing in film. Zaid currently co-presents Jordan’s favorite youth show “ Caravan “ on Roya TV.
